I left Smithers and was heading to the rockies. But I didn´t get far. My car broke down at the petrol station in Houston. The starter died. Luckily I got a new one at the part store in town. Having the skills and leaning the tools from KAL TIRE allowed me to get back on the road again within five hours. After an other day driving I met Elias, a swiss climber (we knew each other from climbing in Squamish before), in Jasper.

One of our climbing adventures was a climb called „cardiac arete" on the Sentinel Tower in Lake Louise. Exposed climbing on extraordinary quartzite rock in a scenic indian summer landscape made it a perfect day for us, despite we had to share with approximately thousands of tourists from all over the world.

Climbing on Mount Rundle. The weather can change very quick in the rockies. feels quite a bit like back home in the alps.

Both of us maintain the „living in the car life style" on a high level. Reason enough to open a parking-lot kitchen in Canmore. Maybe we will start a cooking show soon.

There was snow in the mountains this morning so we had to be creative finding a sheltered breakfast area.

And eventually I found the time to pay attention to other necessary things in my live. Although my fingers appreciate a break after six days climbing in a row.
